I’m doing a pitch (making B2B offers) and post challenge. I start pitching on Monday.
The preparation process has me stoked. I love outreach. I love creating my own opportunities. I’m far too impatient to wait for my content to work for me. So many people, especially women in entrepreneurship, steer clear of pitching and selling.
But 99% of what has worked out for me (and the domino effect afterward) has been the result of pitching. Today I was able to get a lot of my prep work done.
In under 3 hours because my 4 YO was home with me.
Here’s how that went.
LFG 🔥
My content is scheduled for next week
There is no feeling better than knowing you don’t have to LIVE on social media. I appreciate it for being 1) FREE and 2) offering visibility.
But I don’t enjoy it personally. Only professionally.
When I shared my POST part of this challenge with you on Day 1, I shared that I’d be posting 3X a day. That meant across platforms, including these daily emails and LinkedIn.
And I decided to post on FB, too. Here’s a snapshot of my LinkedIn scheduled posts:

My Warm Up Video is Ready
I love video content. I’d like to think being on camera is a strength for me, that’s why I prioritize YouTube even on my struggle days like yesterday.
So I use video content to sell for me because I love pitching, I don’t love “sales calls”. There’s a massive difference in the experience when you leverage video content in your selling strategy.
LinkedIn as a sales page
I don’t put a lot of effort into a website update or changes. It’s unfortunate how many solopreneurs invest thousands of dollars into pretty branding and fail to make a dollar from it. Been there done that.
Now, I when I’m pitching B2B, I use Linkedin as my website. That was updated today. Here’s the link to my profile to check it out. And if you don’t already, follow me there.
I also updated the longer sales page on my Google doc.
It doesn’t have to be perfect
Here’s the thing: I’m likely going to tweak my messaging offer, and content strategy over the course of the next few weeks as I pitch and have conversations.
My aim is always 70-80% prepared. I don’t care to invest hundreds of dollars of minutes perfecting anything before I’ve had a chance to get feedback in real time.
So all of this is subject to change. But nonetheless, it’s enough for me to kickoff my pitching Monday.
On Monday, I’ll share the pitch list and how I brainwash myself to pitch even when I’m anxious.
Reply back to this email and tell me what you think about the challenge details so far!
