Hey there,

Late post. Busy day. No activity yesterday - I forgot the kiddos were all home. I’ve been catching up on Moab240 on TikTok and forgot to send out this newsletter.

I worked with ChatGPT to source some leads for my pitching.

And to also make sure that I was clear on my aim. Meaning, I’ve identified the low-hanging fruit but I don’t want to pitch them all in one day.

And I’ve had a few revelations about the posting side of things. I’ll share in today’s review.

Pitching

This week I’m going for BDC/WBC until I exhaust that list.

I made 4 pitches (target is 10). I’m following much of my formula laid out in my PDF Case Study: How I landed 4 new clients in 5 days.

Except that was for clients. I’m looking for customers.

I also created a tracking sheet to use to keep things simple. It’s a Google sheet. Let me know if you’d like to get your hands on it. I’m happy to share for free.

I’ve decided to enroll in Jess Ekstrom’s bootcamp this week to learn more about her pitching strategy for speaking gigs.

Posting

The thing about social media and content for it, you have to play by that platforms rules. Meaning, if you want to get eyes on your content, you need to learn and study how to help yourself.

I don’t have the commitment to Instagram to do this.

Right now, I’m focused on a YouTube-first strategy. And I’m just repurposing content. I’m using a tool to clip my YouTube videos are posting them.

So I need to think about the next move for IG. Maybe it’s an offshore social media assistant who specializes in IG.

Whatever it is, it needs to be simple.

I also think I’m going to be audacious and post & tag the brands/orgs that I’m pitching. That’s bold, right?

Results Today

I got a message from someone via Linkedin asking about how I’m pitching workshops. I shared a few tips. Directed her to my website.

I like the growth that I’m seeing on my YouTube (+22 subscribers) in 2 weeks. Of all platforms since I’ve been posting, it’s the only one really growing.

My girls are begging to go to the playground. That’s all for today.

See you tomorrow.
